Guide to Visiting Astronomers
Visiting astronomers are normally present at the telescope to direct the observations. The following document is intended as a guide for astronomers visiting the GTC facilities. Observations may also be carried out under remote guidance. In that case the PI should contact his/her support astronomer well ahead of time in order to coordinate the remote contact.
